  • Recognize and explain key chemical principles relevant to environmental and energy sciences.
  • Interpret the periodic table and apply it to predict chemical properties.
  • Analyze and describe simple chemical reactions, molecular interactions, and physical transformations.
  • Gain confidence in the foundational chemistry required to follow advanced EESM coursework.
