Descriptif

This course is an introduction to working with large data sets in economics and business studies. In the first part of the course, we learn methods how to systematically collect web data using APIs and webscraping. In the second part we study how to describe and visualize data to show correlations between outcomes of interest. Throughout the course students conduct their own research project in group work and present their results to the other students at the end of the course.
