Step aboard for a cruise through time around the British Isles!  You'll be both passenger and tour-guide to your fellow travellers as we stop off at multiple thematic destinations.  

Covering a wide range of periods, we'll be exploring the natives' attitudes to each other and to other nations with the input of some of the islands' most illustrious writers, diarists, caricaturists, humorists, satirists, artists, orators, composers and poets.  

To better understand the contemporary dynamics of a seemingly disunited kingdom, Westminster will be an extended port of call, but a rich corpus of comedy will also provide insight into the British psyche. 

As well as leading short discussions on topics of personal research you will get to try your hand at parliamentary-style debating and at various styles of creative or discursive writing.
