This course provides an introduction to Industrial Organization. In this course, we will study firm behavior in imperfectly competitive markets. We will focus on strategic interactions among firms.

The first part of the course provides an introduction to imperfect competition and presents the basic tools from game theory. In the second part of the course, we will study mid-term decisions of the firms in a given competitive environment, before presenting long-term alliance strategies including mergers, collusion and vertical integration. The roadmap is as follows:
