Math in Practice: Calculus enables students to develop the basic practical mathematical skills that will be largely used in the program. It starts by a refresher training before tackling more advanced concepts, using a hands on pedagogy. The concepts to be covered are elementary functions, their derivation and integration, vector calculus, non-Cartesian coordinate systems, integration and simple ordinary first and second order differential equations.
