PA - C8 - MEC659A : Laboratory Rotations

Descriptif

Students are expected to work in at least 2 different Biomedical Engineering (BME) laboratories for a period of 4 weeks each. Students shadow doctoral students or postdoctoral fellows and work on research projects of limited scope. The rotations are typically conducted in different laboratories on campus in order to provide students with the opportunity to pursue different types of research projects and experience different research settings.

Laboratory rotations provide students with the opportunity to learn concepts and techniques, gain familiarity with different laboratory environments, understand which research types of research questions and approaches appeal most to them, and identify what qualities they prefer in a research advisor.

Objectifs pédagogiques

Expose students to a range of research topics and laboratory environments.
