Descriptif
Math in Practice: Calculus enables students to develop the basic practical mathematical skills that will be largely used in the program. It starts by a refresher training before tackling more advanced concepts, using a hands on pedagogy. The concepts to be covered are elementary functions, their derivation and integration, vector calculus, non-Cartesian coordinate systems, integration and simple ordinary first and second order differential equations.

Vos modalités d'acquisition :
Final grade has two components: Coursework grade and a final exam.
- Coursework grade = 35% of final grade and is broken down as follows:
- Assiduity grade (punctuality in class, at least 5 out of 9 homeworks returned) = 5%
- 3 in-class tests (10% each) = 30% - Final Exam (written 2h exam)=65% of final grade (No calculator, no electronic device, no document allowed).
Remedial exam (100% of final grade) is a 2h written exam (No calculator, no electronic device, no document allowed).
Le rattrapage est autorisé (Note de rattrapage conservée écrêtée à une note seuil de 10)- Crédits ECTS acquis : 1 ECTS
La note obtenue rentre dans le calcul de votre GPA.
