Descriptif
Designed specifically for future engineers and entrepreneurs, this course provides an introduction to intellectual property law (IP), information and technology law (IT), with an emphasis on practical aspects and the challenges posed by new technologies. It is a global approach which gives students a practical understanding of IP and IT law that will enable them to cope with the future challenges they will have to face as engineers or entrepreneurs in the tech industry.
Objectifs pédagogiques
On completion of the seminar, students will be able to :
- have an overview of the rules and regulations regarding IP and IT law in the European Union and some key differences from other countries’ legislations;
- understand the issues related to IP and IT law
- identify the risks and opportunities related to the practice of IP and IT law in the course of business
- develop legal reflexes for interpreting analysis from IP and IT legal teams
